Job summary

Meijer is a family-owned retailer serving six states with a strong commitment to people and communities. This role leads a high-volume distribution facility, directing 40+ frontline team members and 3+ salary supervisors to meet daily goals and customer expectations.

You will drive safety, cost control, and process improvements, while coaching leaders and ensuring accurate inventory and on-time shipments across the network in Tipp City, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3 years management in distribution, warehousing or supply chain.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations and policy interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 40+ team members in distribution operations.
• Direct and supervise 3+ salary supervisors.
• Train, develop and coach supervisors with career plans.
• Hold leaders accountable for goals and financial metrics.
• Oversee capital projects from start to finish.
• Monitor costs to meet budget and drive efficiency.
• Create a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Identify improvements and implement changes across the facility.
• Ensure accurate inventory control and on-time shipments.
