Job summary

Ascentek is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory, timely shipping, and compliant safety practices. You will drive staff performance, coordinate training, and mentor teams to meet cost and quality goals.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and expertise in warehouse systems including JD Edwards ERP. A high school diploma or GED plus several years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher not required, but 5+ years of warehouse/shipping/receiving experience.
• 4+ years managing warehouse operations and staff.
• Knowledge of 5-S, Six Sigma, lean systems and quality management.
• Ability to coordinate transportation and use customer routing portals.
• Proven leadership and strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct duties of warehouse staff to ensure high output at low cost.
• Maintain inbound/outbound paperwork; audit for accuracy and training gaps.
• Develop performance metrics and coach staff; conduct reviews.
• Schedule and supervise training, interviews, and onboarding.
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in local safety committee.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and use ERP for stock location optimization.
• Fill in for Warehouse Manager as needed.
• Maintain standard operating procedures and participate in meetings.
