Job summary

Ascentek Services, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Shreveport, LA to lead the warehouse team, ensure accurate inventory, and ship/receive operations with safety and cost efficiency in mind.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in warehousing, 4 years in management, and familiarity with ISO/QMS and ERP systems like JD Edwards. This full-time role offers a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5 years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience.
• 4 years of warehouse management experience.
• Knowledge of quality, 5-S, six sigma, and/or lean systems.
• Transportation coordination and use of customer routing portals.
• Strong communication & Organizational skills.
• Ability to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Ability to understand and pass Hazmat certification process.
• Ability to understand DOT, state, federal and ICC regulations.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Experience with ISO and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Responsibilities

• Direct duties of warehouse personnel to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries.
• Supervise warehouse systems, training, safety, and compliance programs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and optimize product flow for inbound/outbound materials.
• Develop performance metrics and conduct reviews for staff.
• Coordinate training schedules and onboarding for new hires.
• Ensure licenses/permits are obtained in required time frames.
• Lead safety committees and enforce safety guidelines in shipping.
• Communicate repairs and maintenance needs for warehouse facilities.
• Participate in operational meetings and support continuous improvement.
