Job summary

Ascentek Services, LLC in Louisiana is seeking a Warehouse Lead for the 2nd shift to direct day-to-day warehouse activities and ensure safe, accurate, and timely shipping, receiving, and material handling.

You will support the supervisor by assigning work, training teammates, and upholding safety, quality, and operational excellence. Forklift certification is required, and 3+ years in warehousing with leadership experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
• 1–2 years in a lead or trainer role.
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Experience with ERP systems, JD Edwards.
• Knowledge of Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, picking, and material movement.
• Lead teammates to complete orders accurately and on schedule.
• Train and coach teammates on safety and standard work procedures.
• Act as on-shift contact when supervisor is unavailable.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental policies are followed.
• Participate in incident reporting and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor transactions in ERP/WMS to maintain inventory integrity.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse areas.
• Communicate staffing needs and operational updates to supervisors.
