Job summary

LifeScience Logistics in Windsor, CT is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate shipping, receiving and inventory control. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in forklift operations, WMS systems, and RF scanning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates solid leadership ability and strong communication skills.
• Experience with warehouse operations, safety practices and SOPs.
• Proven problem-solving and time-management capabilities.
• Ability to train and supervise warehouse personnel.
• Must have reach truck experience and be trainable on dangerous goods transport.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and requisition supplies, supervise receiving, storage and packing.
• Coordinate training and safety procedures for staff (safety, SOPs, forklift).
• Develop schedules, assign shifts and manage attendance.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve shipping/discrepancy issues.
• Prepare productivity and reliability statistics for management.
• Act as backup for Operations Supervisor and review time records.
• Maintain sanitary warehouse conditions per company standards.
• Address employee performance and disciplinary actions.
