Triple-S Steel is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Operations Manager in overseeing safe receipt, storage, and timely delivery of materials. This role drives efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement across operations, production, warehouse, and logistics, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

The position leads day-to-day operations, manages budgets, hires and develops staff, and collaborates with sales and other departments to satisfy

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in distribution/production.
• Minimum 3 (3) years of experience in management/supervisory position.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering, human resources laws and regulations, and employee relations skills.
• Experience managing other supervisors/leads.

Responsibilities

• Manages all plant distribution efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Ensures standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance.
• Develops and reports on operating costs; alerts management to overruns; implements solutions.
• Ensures orders are fulfilled to specifications and maintains quality processes.
• Advises supervisors on safety, scheduling, training, and employee relations.
