Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of 50–100 Associates in an on-site fulfillment environment in Maryland. You will mentor, motivate, and develop your team, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while managing shifts and coordinating with support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required or in progress. Degree requirements must be met before start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Lead a team huddle to align on goals, safety priorities, and focus areas.
• Walk the floor to stay connected with the team and ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Oversee shift coverage, adjust staffing as volume shifts, and remove roadblocks.
• Hand off to the next manager with clear priorities and open items.
