Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the warehouse department, ensure operational excellence, and drive productivity and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate activities and maintenance under the Warehouse Manager and Branch leadership, and train staff to execute a coordinated shipping and receiving plan.

The role requires 2–3 years in logistics with supervisory experience, forklift knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in transportation and logistics management, with supervisory or managerial responsibilities is preferred.
• High School Diploma required
• Must have forklift experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of warehouse environment
• Advanced competency in all aspects of business administration
• People management and leadership experience (Recruitment, Selection, Training & Development, Coaching, and Performance Management)

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for receiving and shipping.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, sanitation, maintenance and inventory control.
• Adhere to budget requirements and help meet branch goals.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment for distribution functions and enforce safety policies.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage performance of direct reports.
• Provide timely reporting and meet deadlines.
• Suggest improvements to warehouse operations and participate in meetings.
