Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in the United States to lead the warehouse department, drive operational excellence, and ensure high productivity and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate staffing, shipping, receiving, and maintenance under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and Branch leadership.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for picking and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Adhere to budget requirements and support branch objectives and goals.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment usage for distribution functions.
• Lead warehouse safety programs in compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
• Recommend equipment needs and replacements to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage performance of direct reports.
• Provide timely reporting and meet deadlines.
• Identify and present ideas to improve warehouse operations.
