Qualifications

• 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in transportation/logistics
• High School Diploma required
• Must have forklift experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Thorough knowledge of warehouse environment and business administration

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a diverse environment

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for loading receiving and productivity.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, sanitation, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Adhere to budgets and support branch goals; maintain warehouse equipment and safety programs.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage performance of direct reports; report deadlines on time.
• Identify and implement improvements to warehouse operations; participate in meetings.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies; manage training and discipline.
