Job summary

Sysco Corp. in Houston seeks a Warehouse Manager to oversee safe receipt, storage, retrieval and dispatch of goods, ensuring safety and security, productivity, and accurate inventory control.

Responsibilities include managing POs, inventory accuracy, staff training, and coordination with customer service for order fulfillment. The role requires 2–5 years in supply chain/warehouse management, proficiency with WMS and Macola, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.
• 2–5 years of Supply Chain/Warehouse and Management experience.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management platforms and Inventory systems.
• MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Possess or ability to pass forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily processing of all Purchase Orders and Stock Purchase Orders.
• Ensure product is warehoused and disbursed to the picking line within the prescribed time frame.
• Ensure daily warehouse order processing is completed and tickets shipped.
• Manage receiving, inventory control & returns with proper bin management.
• Assist with expediting customer service orders and inventory monitoring.
• Input data, provide training, supervise staff, oversee workflow.
• Assist Customer Service Managers with shipment or returns issues.
• Enforce proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Ensure correct delivery and pickup of inventory using appropriate shipping sources.
• Maintain proper staffing during normal business hours.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and free of debris.
• Motivate and organize teamwork to meet productivity targets.
• Train staff and monitor performance.
