Job summary

Sysco Redistribution Center Facilities is seeking a dedicated supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate receiving, put-away, pick, and ship processes. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and coaching to meet productivity goals while maintaining inventory integrity.

The supervisor collaborates with Transportation and Inventory Control to optimize flow, reduce overtime, and uphold safety standards across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading warehouse staff or in a supervisory role is required or preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to report to RDC management.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks; analyze data and solve problems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/LMS tools is a plus.
• Certification on material handling equipment is required, or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise warehouse colleagues; recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff.
• Plan and schedule coverage for vacations, holidays, and shifts; manage labor to balance workflow.
• Monitor receiving/shipping and enforce safety policies to reduce injuries.
• Coordinate with Transportation and Inventory Control to optimize throughput.
• Maintain warehouse security and equipment upkeep; enforce attendance and conduct records.
