Job summary

GEODIS in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Warehouse Operations & Event Logistics Coordinator to support storage, inventory, and transportation of event assets. This role serves as a liaison between warehouse operations and customer event teams, manages safety training documentation, maintains inventory controls, and coordinates transportation and on-site staff for events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months relevant experience or training.
• Experience in event coordinating preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; MS Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between warehouse Operations and Customer event teams.
• Manage the training and documentation process for warehouse safety and operations programs.
• Maintain quality and inventory controls on a national scale.
• Ensure all materials are in working conditions and perform needed repairs.
• Develop storage solutions for new assets.
• Conduct transportation planning and analysis with field staff for cost efficiency.
• Coordinate and dispatch transportation for Customer event assets and on-site infrastructure.
• Coordinate on-site event staff for setup and teardown.
• Maintain event detail databases and provide reports as needed.
• Assist management in identifying process improvements.
