Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader to manage day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy of shipments, inventory integrity, and safe operations. The role involves coordinating with customer service and sales, maintaining equipment, and driving KPI performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse and labor management systems, strong problem-solving and reporting skills, and the ability to lead and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
• Lean certifications preferred.
• Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads operational procedures for verification of shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and inventory accuracy.
• Ensures the physical condition of warehouse and equipment are properly maintained.
• Submits work orders for repairs and replacements of equipment.
• Coordinates warehouse activities with customer service and sales.
• Partners with the customer to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction via communication and follow-up.
• Ensures safe operation of the warehouse meeting sanitation, maintenance, safety, and security standards.
• Monitors KPI to ensure profitability and productivity of the distribution center.
• Oversees staffing, training, coaching, and development for employees; manages hours for payroll.
