GEODIS is hiring to lead and optimize warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You will establish procedures for shipments, inventory integrity, and equipment upkeep while coordinating with customer service and sales to ensure seamless operations.

You will drive safety, compliance, and cost-effective performance, lead staffing and training, and partner with engineering to optimize layout and product placement.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
• Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and leads operational procedures for verification of shipments and inventory.
• Ensures physical condition of warehouse and equipment is maintained.
• Coordinates with customer service and sales for smooth operations.
• Maintains high customer satisfaction through effective communication.
• Ensures safe operation and adherence to sanitation, maintenance, safety, and security standards.
• Optimizes warehouse areas, equipment, and WMS performance.
• Drives efficiency while mitigating barriers to success.
• Collaborates with engineering to optimize layout and product placement.
• Monitors KPI performance and ensures cost-effective operations.
• Oversees staffing, training, coaching, and development of personnel.
• Reports hours worked to Payroll weekly and manages supervision team.
• Handles recruitment, interviews, and performance appraisals.
