Food Management Search, Inc. is partnering with a manufacturing client in Wisconsin to hire a Warehouse Manager. This role leads a team of 10 in receiving, storage, and distribution across headquarters warehouses, driving safe, timely, and cost-effective output.

The ideal candidate has solid warehouse operations experience in manufacturing and at least 2 years of leadership, with plans to move to SAP within the next few years. Strong leadership and communication are essential to success.

Formación

• Solid warehouse operations experience for a manufacturing operation.
• At least 2 years of prior warehouse leadership experience.
• Knowledge of a warehouse management system; moving to SAP within a couple of years.
• Good leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a team of 10 warehouse associates in the operation of the client’s warehouses.
• Develop and improve supply chain strategies and KPIs to align with corporate goals.
• Be accountable for controlled inventory and finished goods shipping and warehouse duties.
• Ensure accuracy and timely transactions for inbound/outbound products; work with QA to resolve issues.
• Conduct physical cycle counts and root cause analysis for inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in shipping/warehousing.
• Oversee equipment needs and maintenance; plan capital expenditures and budgets.
• Manage safe operation of forklifts and equipment for special projects.
• Meet periodic shipping volume objectives and report exceptions.
• Ensure products meet quality standards for packaging and completeness.
• Serve as go-to expert on WMS and shipping processes; validate daily in systems.
