Job summary

McLane Company, Inc in Shawnee, KS is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment and related distribution center systems. You will diagnose malfunctions, research parts, weld and fabricate as needed, and ensure accurate tracking of parts and labor while staying safe.

The role requires a relevant technical degree and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with forklifts and related equipment.

Qualifications

Relevant technical degree; professional training is preferred.
At least 3 years of professional industrial maintenance experience, including forklifts and related equipment.
Read and understand electrical schematics.
Familiar with OSHA regulations.
Basic computer skills and experience using a maintenance database (MP2, DataStream 7i or Maintenance Connection).

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment.
Maintain other distribution center equipment such as refrigeration systems, plumbing, lighting, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washers, and paint work.
Diagnose malfunctions using specifications; research parts and weld/fabricate as needed.
Document spare parts usage, inventory and labor actions accurately.
Work safely to prevent injury and product/equipment damage.
Other duties may be assigned.
