Job summary

The McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance II to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment and distribution-center systems.

You will analyze and diagnose malfunctions, order parts, document maintenance actions, and work safely to protect people and products. The role requires a technical degree and 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including forklifts and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical degree; professional training is preferred.
• At least 3 years of professional industrial maintenance experience, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.
• At least 2 years of material handling equipment maintenance experience.
• Read and understand electrical schematics.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Basic computer skills and maintenance databases MP2, DataStream 7i, Maintenance Connection.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level for safety and operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment.
• Maintain other distribution center equipment such as refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, doors, air systems, racking, and painting.
• Diagnose malfunctions using specifications and repair as needed.
• Research parts and tools; weld and fabricate as required.
• Ensure spare parts usage and labor actions are documented.
