Job summary

McLane seeks a Warehouse Maintenance I for entry-level training in a distribution center. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment and facility systems within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role includes hands-on work, parts tracking, battery management, and documentation, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Read/understand electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Basic computer skills with maintenance databases.

Responsibilities

• Ensure spare parts usage, inventory and work orders are tracked per policy.
• Assist DC maintenance: refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washer, air spray painting.
• Maximize availability of batteries by managing charging cycles and rotation.
• Perform inspections and cleaning; conduct specific gravity checks; evaluate cable serviceability and repair damage.
• Develop working knowledge of the McLane Maintenance Connection database.
• Other duties may be assigned.
