Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Machine Operator 1 for the Warehouse in a 12-hour rotating shift (6PM-6AM). This role supports the Shipping Department by moving metal from inventory to staging and preparing shipments, with safety as a priority.

You will work in a manufacturing environment with opportunities to grow within the company. The job emphasizes ability to read labels, follow instructions, and learn shipping docs while handling heavy materials and working at heights up to 15 ft.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Follow verbal and basic written instructions.
• Learn shipping documentation process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boxes and bundles for shipment to customers.
• Move packed metal from inventory to shipping areas using equipment or manually.
• Verify labels on boxes to ensure correct customer shipment.
• Bundle and load trailers to ensure product integrity and proper delivery.
• Complete Pre-Loading Checklist before loading trailers.
