Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Machine Operator to calibrate machines and equipment to meet precise aluminum fabrication specifications under the supervision of the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience using power tools and reading a tape measure (to 1/32”).
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and perform basic math (fractions/decimals).

Responsibilities

• Perform general aluminum fabrication, assembly, and packaging using hand and power tools.
• Set up and operate equipment to drill, cut, and prepare aluminum components per work orders and schedules.
• Measure, weigh, label, and pack materials according to shipping requirements, ensuring proper protection and accuracy.
• Inspect products for quality defects and ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
• Read and interpret drawings, labels, and work instructions; complete basic documentation using shop floor systems or RF equipment.
