Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Material Handler 2 for the 3rd shift to move aluminum extrusions from racks to staging for the saw. The role supports the Custom Door Fabrication Supervisor and requires safety-minded, detail-focused teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include reading a tape measure, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing 8–10 hours daily on concrete floors, and using safety gear. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use a tape measure to a 1/32.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Able to stand and move for 8–10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
• Able to wear safety gear including hard hats and steel-toe boots.

Responsibilities

• Move aluminum extrusions from racks to staging area for saw operator.
• Read and interpret written directions to perform tasks safely.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the work area.
• Operate or assist with pallet jacks or forklifts as needed.
• Report hazards and follow all safety policies and procedures.
