Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Machine Operator 1 for the Warehouse to move metal from inventory to staging areas in preparation for shipment, reporting to the Warehouse Manager. This role is ideal for someone comfortable operating machinery and looking to build a career with an industry-leading organization.

The position requires working Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with physical tasks including standing, lifting up to 75 lbs alone and 150 lbs with a partner, and

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Follow verbal and basic written instructions.
• Learn shipping documentation process.
• Ability to work in areas that require heights up to 15 ft.
• Commitment to a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boxes and bundles for shipment to customers.
• Move packed metal from inventory to shipping areas using equipment or manually.
• Verify labels on boxes in bundles to ensure correct shipments.
• Bundle and load for delivery with no load shifting.
• Build quality bundles and load trailers properly.
• Complete Pre-Loading Checklist before loading trailers.
