Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Machine Operator - 12 Hour Days (Construction) to ensure safe, efficient production of molded OES products and preparation for shipping.

You will review production specifications, set up and operate machines, trim flash, inspect quality, and communicate issues to prevent production loss.

This full-time position requires teamwork, adherence to safety procedures, and a willingness to work 12-hour shifts in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate verbally or in writing.
• Ability to display safety orientation.
• This job involves physical demands: walking, stairs, standing, bending, lifting items.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Environmental conditions include limited outdoor work; indoor work is warm in summer.
• Occasional use of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Reviews production specifications before shift and asks clarifying questions.
• Removes product from machine to maintain schedule.
• Trims, files or cuts excess flash per specs.
• Inspects each piece for quality and customer specs.
• Alerts supervisor to quality issues or damage to limit production loss.
• Installs or assembles components per order specifications.
• Maintains safety and reports potential hazards.
• Labels, packages, and stacks finished product for shipping.
• Maintains clean, organized workstation to ensure safety.
• Complies with all safety procedures.
