Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Machine Operator 1 to support the Maintenance Department in setup and operation of plant equipment. You’ll run multiple machines, monitor performance, and help keep the line safe and productive.

You’ll work a team, follow KPI targets, assist with preventive maintenance, manage logs, and may work overtime. This is a path to grow within a leading architectural glass and building products company.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operation and ability to communicate clearly.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Follow KPI targets for safety, quality, production and efficiency.
• Assist with setup, start, adjust, diagnose and shut down equipment; remove waste from the plant floor.
• Maintain logs and reports for parts inventory and PM compliance.
• Notify Maintenance of repairs; may work overtime.
