Job summary

Dover Corp is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to direct daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions in a Kent, Ohio facility. The role oversees end-to-end material movement, carrier scheduling, and safety programs to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance.

You will drive OT/OTD metrics, optimize warehouse layout, and lead a team of warehouse staff. Strong SAP/MRP experience and prior supervisory exposure are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of logistics coordination experience (domestic and international).
• 3+ years managing daily warehouse logistics transactions and carrier scheduling.
• 2+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial distribution environment.
• 2+ years using ERP/MRP platforms (SAP preferred).
• 2+ years in a direct supervisory or leadership role in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Leads and schedules warehouse personnel handling receiving, material handling, picking/packing, and outbound shipping operations.
• Drives operational logistics metrics including On-Time Delivery, packaging accuracy, and customer satisfaction scores.
• Maintains safe, organized warehouse operations by optimizing space, layout, and inventory labeling for rapid retrieval.
• Enforces OSHA compliance with regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and accident prevention initiatives.
• Oversees forklift and PIT safety program, ensuring operators are trained, certified, and inspected.
• Executes inventory control methodologies, leads cycle counting, and analyzes variances to maintain accuracy.
• Develops and enforces SOPs for training, process discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Manages RGA, outside processing, and service orders workflows and intercompany shipments.
• Coordinates complex logistics documentation including BOLs, customs paperwork, and international trade certificates.
