Job summary

Allied Machine & Engineering Corp. in Dover, OH is seeking a Logistics/Shipping Supervisor with 3–5 years of experience to lead the shipping team and optimize the order fulfillment process.

The role supervises shipping associates, ensures accurate data in the Warehouse Management System, and coordinates domestic and international shipments to meet company goals. The position is full-time and reports to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• Two year degree in Logistics/supply chain management, preferred.
• Three to five years in a similar role, preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping associates and effectively apply resources to meet demand.
• Identify opportunities within the order fulfillment process which may increase throughput, minimize costs, reduce delivery times and increase customer satisfaction.
• Administer the Warehouse Management System data to ensure accuracy, maximize storage capacity and increase handling efficiency.
• Maintain all shipping related data required to effectively ship both domestically and internationally.
• Meet corporate and departmental goals and objectives
• Other Duties as assigned by Plant Manager
