Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Loader Formula to support our food distribution operations. You will transport items into trailers using forklift or pallet jack, prepare pallets for shipping, and ensure accurate and safe loading in adherence to plans and quality standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean dock, following safety policies, and performing general duties as needed. Candidates should have 6+ months in a warehouse/distribution environment and pass post‑offer drug and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Must have 6+ months of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, lift 10–35 lbs, and up to 60–90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport items into trailers with forklift, pallet jack or by hand in loading plan sequence.
• Move outgoing products from staging area to loading dock and secure loads.
• Locate trailer slots, secure loads, and inspect pallets for damage.
• Perform housekeeping to keep area, dock, and trailers clean.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Review schedules, perform safety checks, and prepare supplies for operations.
• Wear required PPE and safety gear; complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• Assist Order Selectors and perform other duties as assigned.
