Job summary

Cheney Brothers seeks a Loader, Non-Formula to support its warehouse operations. You will transport items into trailers using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, prepare outbound freight, and ensure loads meet safety and quality standards while maintaining efficient flow.

Responsibilities include moving products from staging to docks, wrapping and labeling pallets, and keeping the workspace clean and safe.

Qualifications

6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
Able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Transport items to be shipped into trailers using forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
Move outgoing products from staging area to loading dock with forklift.
Wrap pallets and secure loads; ensure shipping labels are in place.
Locate slots on trailers and secure loads once placed.
Remove empty pallets and packing material to proper areas.
Inspect pallets for damage; move pallets to storage as needed.
Perform housekeeping and keep work areas clean and safe.
Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions immediately.
Prepare for operations by reviewing schedules and obtaining supplies.
Wear required PPE and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
