Job summary

Cheney Brothers in the United States is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula to join our warehouse team. You will transport items into trailers, prepare pallets for shipping, and maintain safety and quality standards.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, work with others in a fast-paced environment, and handle loads weighing up to 90 pounds in multi-temperature settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift
• Wraps pallets with cellophane and secures loads with shipping labels
• Locates the proper slot on the trailer and secures the load when complete
• Inspects empty pallets for damage and keeps the area clean and organized
• Performs general housekeeping and follows safety policies and procedures
