Job summary

Cheney Brothers is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator, Non Formula, to support efficient product flow in our distribution process. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safe handling, staging, and replenishment of stock across multi-temperature environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day's work orders.
• Rotates stock to the front of racks and removes out-of-date inventory.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots.
• Removes empty pallets and packing materials to proper area.
• Inspects pallets for damage and moves them to storage areas.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and prepare for operations.
• Wear required PPE and safety gear.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Operate from receiving sheets and follow established procedures.
