Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a Forklift Operator, Non Formula in North Carolina. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move freight, stock inventory, and support efficient distribution.

The role emphasizes safety, GMP, and accurate handling in a multi-temperature environment. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED and at least 6 months of warehouse experience, with the ability to pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to operate forklift, pallet jack and other material handling equipment.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and set pallets with forklift or hand stack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to work orders.
• Rotate stock and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots.
• Remove empty pallets and packing materials to appropriate area.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area.
• Perform equipment safety checks and wear required PPE.
• Complete paperwork and secure equipment at end of shift.
