Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Loader Formula to join its warehouse team in Elkton, MD. You will transport items into trailers using pallet jacks, forklifts, or by hand, align with loading plans, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include securing loads, staging dock, performing safety checks, and supporting order selectors as needed in a multi-temperature distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products up to 60–90 pounds.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
• Locates the proper slot on the trailer and secures the load.
• Removes empty pallets and general housekeeping duties.
• Follows safety policies and ensures PPE is worn.
• Performs paperwork and reports unsafe conditions.
• Secures equipment and completes end-of-shift tasks.
