Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Glen Allen, VA invites applications for a Loader Formula in our warehouse. You will transport items using a forklift or pallet jack, wrap pallets, apply labels, and load trailers following a planned sequence while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Eligible candidates have at least 6 months in a warehouse role, can lift 10–90 pounds, work across cooler, freezer and dry zones, and commit to the stated schedule (3pm start, Sunday–Thursday with rotating Fridays).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Ability to work scheduled times and overtime as required.
• Able to lift up to 90 pounds and work in multi-temperature environments.
• Post offer drug test and criminal background check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Transport items to loading dock with forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Locate slots on the trailer and secure loads.
• Remove pallets and inspect for damage, move to storage areas.
• Perform housekeeping to keep warehouse areas clean and safe.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and secure equipment.
