Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Loader Formula to join our warehouse team. You will transport items into trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand, following a loading plan and ensuring safe, efficient operation in a multi-temperature environment.

Responsibilities include locating trailer slots, securing loads, performing pre-shift safety checks, and maintaining clean work areas. The role requires 6+ months of warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and overtime as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence.
• Locates the proper slot on the trailer for the order, sets it in place and secures the load.
• Removes empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles; inspects pallets for damage.
• Performs general housekeeping; keeps warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clean.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
