Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula to support our Orlando distribution operations. You will move and load pallets, operate pallet jacks or forklifts, and ensure accurate and safe handling of outbound freight.

Role requires 6+ months warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and the ability to work in cooler, freezer, and dry environments. Drug test and background check are required post-offer.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand following a loading plan
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift
• Wraps pallets with cellophane and ensures labels are in place
• Locates proper trailer slot and secures load
• Removes empty pallets and packing materials to appropriate areas
• Inspects pallets and moves them to storage as needed
• Performs housekeeping and keeps area clean and safe
• Follows safety policies and uses PPE as required
