Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula in Orlando to support our distribution network. You will transport goods into trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks, wrap and secure loads, and maintain accurate, safe operations on the dock.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 90 lbs, and working in cooler, freezer, and dry environments. A post-offer drug test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, generally up to 60–90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct order.
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
• Wraps pallets and ensures shipping labels are in place as needed.
• Locates trailer slots, secures load, and ensures proper pallet storage.
• Inspects pallets for damage and maintains clean, safe work area.
• Performs safety checks and follows company guidelines to finish shifts.
