Job summary

US Foods in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Manager, Warehouse to drive a safety‑conscious and cost-efficient warehouse operation at the Plainfield DC. The role oversees a workforce, ensures accurate receiving, storage, and outbound loading, and fosters a culture of safety and performance.

Onboarding will begin at the Aurora, IL distribution center, with initial training before transitioning to the Plainfield DC.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to ensure injury-free associates.
• Coach and develop warehouse staff and address performance gaps.
• Direct and supervise warehouse work to meet productivity and safety targets.
• Schedule shifts and oversee order accuracy and loading onto trucks.
• Maintain facility safety and equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
