Job summary

Dot Foods, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager in Illinois. This role leads a hands-on team on the warehouse floor, training staff, monitoring performance, and guiding receiving, warehousing, and shipping aligned with company goals.

You will drive labor planning to meet daily deadlines, enforce safety and productivity standards, and implement cost-reduction strategies using lean tools. A strong emphasis on teamwork and clear communication is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical and planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a standard physical abilities test.

Responsibilities

• Leads on the warehouse floor by training, monitoring, and evaluating personnel.
• Plans inbound and outbound product flow and labor needs to meet daily deadlines.
• Communicates, coordinates, and enforces warehouse and company policies and procedures.
• Pursues cost reduction and optimizes warehouse cost metrics.
• Applies lean thinking and continuous improvement to eliminate waste.
