Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead who will coach and train warehouse associates, including forklift drivers, and provide backup to supervisory staff. The role involves leading daily tasks across departments such as shipping, receiving, packaging, inventory control, and material handling, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The Lead will conduct PIT training, perform observations, manage paperwork, and support inventory cycles while ensuring safety inspections and quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train teammates to fulfill daily tasks and provide backup to supervisor.
• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers, including PIT and annual recertification.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution and handle receiving/shipping tasks.
• Complete paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG, etc.).
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
