Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train teammates while handling core warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling. You will back up supervisors and help ensure safety and accuracy in daily operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of warehouse experience, 6 months of leadership exposure, and a Forklift Operator license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• At least 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers; conduct PIT training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products/materials.
• Complete paperwork (shipping/tracking labels) per SOPs and regs.
• Participate in cycle counts and report variances.
• Perform daily forklift inspections; keep equipment in safe condition.
• Ensure facility is inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA and customers against needs.
• Communicate and report incidents to supervisor.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Review and analyze daily production reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles as needed.
