Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, cover lead duties, and back up the supervisor as needed. The role involves operating powered industrial trucks, supporting shipping/receiving, and maintaining safety and inventory controls.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in warehouse operations, 6 months of leadership experience, and a forklift license or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• At least 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates; lead daily tasks and provide backup to supervisor.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (PIT) to move products and materials safely.
• Support shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, and general warehouse functions as needed.
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with SQFI/FDA/customer requirements.
• Participate in cycle counts and report variances; maintain accurate records and paperwork.
