Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, manage daily tasks, and back up a supervisor. The role spans shipping/receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse functions.

Responsibilities include leading PIT forklift operators, conducting annual recertifications, performing safety inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse teams.
• Licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to perform daily tasks and provide backup to the supervisor.
• Lead shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, and general warehouse functions as needed.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and move products; ensure accurate paperwork and labeling per SOPs.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification training; perform safety inspections and daily safety checks on equipment.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG) and maintain a ready-for-audit facility.
