Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Ohio to coach and train warehouse teammates, supervise daily tasks, and provide backup to the supervisor as needed.

The role involves overseeing shipping/receiving, inventory control, cycle counts, and safety inspections, with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance (DOT, IATA, IMDG), and continuous improvement in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train teammates to fulfill their daily tasks and provide backup to the supervisor as needed.
• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution and load/unload/store materials.
