Job summary

Kenco Group in Fairborn, OH, is seeking a Warehouse Lead who will coach warehouse associates, oversee daily tasks, and back up the supervisor. Responsibilities span shipping/receiving, inventory control, and material handling, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will train forklift drivers, perform PIT recertifications, conduct inspections, and ensure regulatory readiness while supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution and store materials as assigned.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and applicable regulatory agencies.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections per the Safety Checklist.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report incidents to supervisor.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Review and analyze daily production reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles as needed.
