Job summary

Kenco Group is hiring a Warehouse Lead in Ohio to coach and train warehouse teams, supervise daily tasks, and back up supervisors as needed. The role requires forklift operation certification, strong leadership, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The position focuses on driving efficiency, accuracy in shipping/receiving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, with emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement within our

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Complete shipping/tracking labels and paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in inventory/cycle count activities and report variances to leadership.
• Provide backup to supervisor and assist other warehouse roles as needed.
