Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Warehouse Lead to ensure safety, productivity, and efficiency in the shift. You will supervise staff, monitor workflow, and uphold service and quality commitments.

The role demands strong leadership, clear communication, attention to detail, safety focus, and reliability to keep operations running smoothly from 5:00AM until work is completed. May require overtime and adherence to detailed procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution experience.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Intermediate knowledge of warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform administrative work including data entry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to analyze operations data.
• Able to operate and be certified on powered equipment if required.
• Able to learn and use electronic warehouse management software.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Communicate proactively with Warehouse Leadership and team members during the shift.
• Ensure adherence to standard policies and practices.
• Promote teamwork, morale, pride, and high-quality performance.
• Monitor station supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Verify equipment is in safe, working condition.
• Lead safety practices and address issues promptly.
• Provide proper training and arrange additional training when needed.
• Oversee and maintain security of assigned areas.
• Ensure tasks comply with safety policies and standards.
• Report progress to Warehouse Supervisor and maintain records.
• Complete required documentation for the assigned area.
• Step in to ensure all job functions are completed each shift.
