Job summary

Ruan Transportation Management Systems in Madison, MS is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations. You will guide a team, promote safety, and ensure timely material flow under supervision."

The role requires effective communication, coaching, and hands-on leadership to maintain smooth workflows and respond to changes in dispatch and scheduling. Monday–Friday, 6am start, with completion-based hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team through effective communications, coaching, appraising, and recognizing.
• Promote safety and identify accident review and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure work is available for operators and tasks are completed on time.
• Direct flow of material inbound or outbound.
• Direct forklift operators or warehouse staff to move resources to available work.
• Coordinate with fleet dispatch on schedule changes and cancellations.
• May cover in absence of Warehouse Supervisor when needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as required.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 6am - completion

Executes the day to day work activities as directed by the supervisor. Responsible for positively communicating the directions of the supervisor, while leading by example in work efforts to ensure the work flow remains consistent with business needs. Will work with team members to promote and identify safety and continuous improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

Carrying out the Company's organizational values and operating in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies are required functions. Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Under the direction of the Supervisor, provide leadership to the team through effective communications, coaching, appraising, and recognizing. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Continuously promotes safety. (accident review and improvement opportunities)
• Ensures that work is available for operators and completes tasks on time.
• Directs flow of material, either inbound or outbound.
• Gives direction to Forklift Operators or Warehouse Associates to move resources to available work.
• Coordinates with fleet dispatch on schedule changes, cancellations, etc.
• May cover in absence of Warehouse Supervisor when needed.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
