Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead to train and coach warehouse associates, overseeing tasks across shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory control. The role includes backfilling to supervisors and conducting PIT-related trainings. Strong leadership and forklift certification are required.

You will operate floor equipment, complete required paperwork, and participate in safety and quality programs to maintain compliant, efficient operations. #{additional duties} is possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• At least 6 months leadership/supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and lead warehouse associates; train teammates in daily tasks.
• Lead may oversee shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, or general warehouse duties.
• Provide backup to supervisor when needed; conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely to move products; complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks and keep the facility inspection-ready for SQFI/FDA/customer needs.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed and incidents are reported to supervision.
• Review daily production reports and serve as a backup to other warehouse roles; perform other duties as assigned.
