Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, oversee daily tasks, and act as a backup to supervisors. The role covers shipping/receiving, packing, inventory control, and material handling, including forklift operations. Prior supervisory experience and a forklift license are required.

The position emphasizes safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within a dynamic warehouse environment, with opportunities to impact efficiency and team development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
• Ability to train and coach teammates and conduct safety training.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in inventory/cycle count activities and report variances.
• Provide backup to supervisor and other warehouse roles as needed.
